I learned how to make this on Martha Stewart. I love it because it is so simple and takes less than an hour to make. Plus, it is just so cute and girly.
Candice, it is fun to see how clever you are at making your house a home. I love all your projects and your gingerbread house turned out great! Good job Candice! :)
My dream in life is to have my own craft room with cupboards full of beautiful fabric, drawers overflowing with ribbons, flowers, and buttons and a big closet where I keep all the used furniture I am planning to redo. But, with my husband just starting law school and me staying home with our little baby, our financial situation makes that dream impossible for several more years.
However, I was able to convice my frugal husband to give me $40 a month out of our tight budget to spend on "crafts." This money can be spent on on whatever I feel like creating to make my home and baby beautiful. Each month is a challenge to see how far I can stretch $40.
This blog may not have some of the cutest ideas ever, but it just might have some of the cheapest.
She looks like Peter in the bottom picture.
